Chichicastenango
So we arrived here in Chichi this morning. The chicken bus we rode was PACKED. I was practically sitting on a lap of this mayan guy. There was three or four people to a bench, and I noticed as we were ripping it on the highway that there was a nice softball sized hole at my feet. Chicken busses are a suprise evertime. We decided to only take a chicken bus part way because a shuttle was around the same price, and much more comftorable. Also Sage and Zoe werent feeling well and going on a chicken bus is a pretty big feat. Sage is sick (has a fever and such) and is taking a day of relaxation. Tomorrow is the big market, should be a crazy time. Its pretty cool here in Chichi, lots of people wear the traditional clothing. At this moment our laundry is being cleaned so I am sitting in the Internet cafe wearing my bright blue pajama bottems, a bright orange tank top, and green runners. I look pretty foolish, and Im pretty sure people are laughing at me. Whatver, I know im secretly stylish. I think I may wonder out to find some good food and a smoothie now... |
